How to Import Attendees into a List
In Parcy, you can upload your attendees into an attendee list with ease. Begin by accessing your event on your event dashboard, then click "Attendees".
Once you are in the attendee section of your event, click the green button on the top right-hand side of your screen where it says “Add New List”. A pop-up appears asking for List Name, Related Date, and Registration Limit. Tip: If you want a registration limit, add the number within the Registration limit tab. Click “Create New List” when complete.
Within your new attendee list, click "Actions" over on the right-hand side of your screen. A drop-down menu appears showing "export list", "import from CSV", or "change attendee status". Choose "Import from CSV".
A pop-up form appears asking to either "Choose a File" or drag and drop a file to upload. Note: The format has to be CSV and there is a maximum of 2000 rows for each imported file.
Once you import your file, the form asks you to select the CSV column you want to use for the data from each field. For this example, its Name, Last Name, and Email. After you choose what you desire, click "Import # Attendees".
The form offers you an option to override the value for a field by setting a common value. Click on the fields if that is what you desire otherwise the fields will retain their individual values. Click "Start Import" when ready.
Once the import is complete, you can see that all of your attendees are now in the list you created. Note: Each imported file after the first one does not overwrite the old data. It adds to the previous ones.
You have now successfully completed importing your attendees into your list. 🥳
