How to Use Display Conditions

Parcy allows you to show or hide content from your attendees based upon their status such as waiting, attending, etc. In this article, you will learn how to use display conditions to create an even better attendee experience.

To start, go into the event you want to use display conditions for. Once inside your event, select "Event Pages" to be redirected to the Event Pages section.

With the Event Pages section open, select "Edit Layout" for the Registration Page. Here you are taken to the Registration Page you have created.

To open up the "Display Conditions", click on the checkered pattern in the block you want to select. As you click it, you notice the "Display Conditions" is on the right-hand side of your screen.

Click "Add Display Condition" where a pop-up appears asking what display condition you want to select as shown below.

Let's say you want to "Hide Block" first. Click on that so a new pop-up appears asking which status of the attendee you want to hide it from. Let's select "Hide if Attendee is invited but Not Registered Yet (Waiting)" for this example.

Now you are redirected back to your registration page with the ability to select the block you want hidden. You can see the block you selected is outlined in green. Make sure and click, "Save"! Tip: In order for Display Conditions to work properly it must be in a block.

Now, go preview as an attendee in the "waiting" stage to see your masterpiece at work as shown below.

Enjoy your new Display Conditions! 🤓
